Ms. Faqih

Mr. Thacker

Every other Monday

3:15-4:30

B-320

The purpose of the Veterinary Science Club is to give students at Wakefield a real chance to explore veterinary science and learn hands-on skills that aren’t offered in our classes. I’m excited to create a space where people who are passionate about animals and science can come together to learn things like suturing, animal CPR, and animal biology. Which will help guide us as many of us consider careers in veterinary medicine or other animal-related fields. I think this club is important for Wakefield because it offers something unique. Many students are interested in veterinary medicine but don’t always know how that could connect to working with animals. This club will fill that gap by introducing us to new opportunities, providing access to internships, and even helping us find scholarships geared toward veterinary careers.

If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Brian Parke: [email protected]
