Dr. Mike Megargee

Hi!  I’m Dr. Megargee, and I’ve been teaching at Wakefield for 15 years.  I generally teach Intensified Physics and AP Physics 1, but I’ve taught all levels of Physics in the past.  I love my subject and my school, and sometimes feel like I’m stealing my paycheck.  Don’t tell Dr. Willmore that I’d do this job for free!

I’m a career changer– my degrees were in Electrical (Computer) Engineering, and in my earlier jobs I did technology consulting and defense policy analysis.

I’m excited about this upcoming year, and concerned about the challenges for students.  I hope my students will never feel overwhelmed by my courses, and encourage them to allow me to help whenever possible.
