Senior Laptop Collection Information
(last updated 04/23/2018)
Arlington Public Schools has provided you with technological resources to support your learning both inside and outside of the classroom while enrolled in the district. As we approach graduation day, the Department of Information Services will be collecting devices and other technological resources that have been assigned to all students currently enrolled in the 12th grade. You are required to turn in any technological device (MacBook Air and charger, wireless hot spot, etc.) that was loaned to you while enrolled in Arlington Public Schools.
|May 1-May 18, 2018||
Official Laptop Turn-In Period
Students can turn all technological resources assigned to them during this period. NOTE: When turning in your MacBook, you MUST turn in your charger as well. You may turn in your technological resources at any time before school, during all lunch periods, or after school (before 3:30 PM).
|May 18, 2018, 3:01 PM||The names of students who have not turned in all technological resources assigned to them will be added to the Senior Obligation list. Additionally, any MacBooks not turned in by this date will be locked by the Information Services Department.|
|May 21-May 29, 2018||
Late Laptop Turn-In Period
During this time, Ms. Stokes-Beverley will contact families of students that have not turned in technological resources during the Official Turn-In Period. Laptops may also be collected during unscheduled class visits and via passes sent to Warriors Period teachers. NOTE: The Department of Information Services may submit the serial numbers to all devices not turned in to the Arlington County Police Department.
If you do not turn in all technological resources assigned to you, you may not be able to participate in Senior end-of-year activities such as the Senior Picnic, or the school prom.
