Sister Circle’s 1st High Tea Gathering

Wakefield’s First Ever High Tea Gathering was held on Tuesday, May 9th. Female student leaders from Asian Club, Black Student Union, Wakefield Community Circle, Latinas Leading Tomorrow, Women of Wakefield and Ladies of Tomorrow celebrated sisterhood and togetherness. Guest speaker, Mrs. Karen Nightengale, is an active community member, and served as former President of NAACP. Students learned about the history of high tea and proper tea etiquette. Special thank you to Ms. Willow Scott, Ms. Catrice Vandross and all of our circle keepers who helped make this event such a success!
