Congratulations to the Wakefield Music Department!

The Wakefield Music Department has a very successful weekend of the Music in the Parks competition, including receiving the Esprit de Corps Award. All ensembles had outstanding performances and received the highest ratings – Superior and Excellent. Congratulations to Nadim Nader, Phaedra Long, Henry Jessup, and the many student-musicians!
• Symphonic Band – Superior Rating, 3rd Place
• Concert Band – Superior Rating, 1st Place
• Orchestra – Superior Rating , 1st Place, Best Overall Orchestra Award
• Chorus – Excellent Rating, 5th Place • Guitar Ensemble – Superior Rating, 2nd Place
