Celebrating Wakefield Alum Christian Yosef

Wakefield High School is proud to recognize Christian Yosef, whose short film Trife has been nominated for the Television Academy’s 45th College Television Awards.

Christian wrote and directed Trife while completing his MFA at USC. The film follows a father and son experiencing homelessness and explores themes of hardship, resilience, and compassion. Selected as one of only 24 nominees nationwide, Trife showcases Christian’s talent for telling powerful, socially meaningful stories. Winners will be honored March 28 in North Hollywood.
