2022 Visions Art Juried Competition

Congratulations to Wakefield Art students for their work chosen as Finalists in the 2022 Visions Art Juried Competition sponsored by Marymount University. Out of the 303 pieces of artwork that were entered, only 34 pieces were selected for the exhibition and 21 of them were from Wakefield students! This is incredible news, as they juried each of the entries using blind judging.

3 of the 6 awards were also given to Wakefield students. 3rd place went to Marceline Castrillon, for her photo, “Blinded”, and 2 Honorable Mentions; Simone Ichwantoro for her mixed media, “Pieces of a Girl” and Elizabeth for her photo, “Pop of Color”. In addition, Wakefield student, Gilbert Parker, has his photo “Crow Hunt” chosen as the banner image advertising the show.
