Summer Freshman Events

We are excited to welcome the Class of 2030 to Wakefield High School!

Save the date for Incoming Freshman Orientation Days:

• Wednesday, July 29, 2026 | 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Tuesday, August 4, 2026 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

During orientation, students and families can:

•  Pick up laptops (Room A-134)
•  Take freshman portraits & receive student IDs (Auditorium)
•  Attend the orientation presentation (Cafeteria)
•  Join guided school tours led by Wakefield student leaders

Laptop Notice: Students who registered after May 3, 2026 will not receive laptops during orientation. Distribution will take place on:

• August 10 – Last Names A–G
• August 13 – Last Names H–O
• August 17 – Last Names P–Z & makeups
