The results for the Regional Scholastic Art Awards are in and our very own Wakefield Art students claim a whopping 267 individual Awards!

2020 Portfolio Awards Wakefield
- This is up from our 208 awards granted last year.
- We also picked up 16 Portfolio awards! Portfolios are a thematic body of 8 works that is a visual culmination of 4 years of Art and is limited to Seniors.
- In total, our students won 85 individual Gold Keys, 79 Silver Keys, and 103 Honorable Mentions.
- They also won 15 Gold Keys and 1 Silver Key for their Art portfolios.
- Carmina Lopez also received the prestigious American Visions Award for her painting, Metal with Floral Sheet. There are 5 American Visions Awards chosen each year from the Scholastic Gold Key winners and are considered Best in Show!
Please congratulate all these amazing artists when you see them! All of these fantastic students will be recognized at the Scholastic Arts Ceremony on Tuesday, March 2nd at Kenmore and the Gold and Silver Art winners will be on display at Arlington Central Library from February 21st to April 1st.
